INFIELD TRAINING
Infield Play
Infield Play Philosophy. Make the Ordinary Play Extraordinarily Well.
Our infield instruction is built around consistency, precision, and simplicity. We proudly teach the renowned “6F’s” System of Infield Play, developed by Seattle Mariners MLB Infield Coach Perry Hill-a proven approach that has:

Produced 11 MLB Gold Glove Award winners

Contributed to hundreds of millions in professional contracts and signing bonuses

Been mastered by players ranging from Little Leaguers to Major League stars
We begin by teaching players to make every routine play confidently “in the box,” then expand the system to cover every infield situation-ground balls, double plays, slow rollers, tags, and more. The 6F’s system is simple to understand, easy to practice, and highly effective-a gold standard in defensive development that elevates the in-game performance of infielders of all levels.

Infield Training FAQs
What positions do you coach for the infield?

All infield spots: first, second, shortstop, and third. Our infield training also covers bag work, cuts and relays, bunt defense, and tags.
How is infield training different from team practice?

Team practices spread time across the roster. Here, every rep is built around your position and needs, with immediate feedback and competitive rounds that feel like real plays, targeted baseball infield training.
Will this help my throwing accuracy?

Yes. We clean up footwork into the throw, exchange timing, and follow, then layer throws at different tempos so accuracy holds up under pressure.
Do you work on double plays and bag feeds?

Absolutely. We coach feeds from multiple angles, footwork to and across the bag, and turns with different runner speeds and field conditions.
					 How often should I train?

Most players see steady progress with one private session per week plus a clinic or focused practice block. In-season, shorter tune-ups keep rhythm and reads sharp, an effective cadence for infield training.
Do you offer position changes, like moving from outfield to infield?

Yes. We build the core infield patterns first, then ramp speed and decision-making so the move sticks.
Can I train online for the infield?

Yes. We can analyze clips, coach camera setup for at-home drills, and provide simple progressions to repeat between sessions, and practical remote baseball infield training.
What should I bring to an infield training session?

Glove, clean turf shoes or sneakers, water, and, if possible, a short game or practice clip. We’ll use it to set your baseline and track improvements.
